Short description of what your business does or what you specialize in:
Resource Engineering Group (REG) is a building systems engineering firm based out of Crested Butte, Colorado, providing structural, mechanical, electrical/energy, and plumbing engineering services. We strive to create high-performance and energy-efficient spaces using progressive thinking, outside-the-box creativity, and clear communication. The bulk of our work is based in Colorado's mountain communities, namely Aspen and various Roaring Fork Valley towns, as well as Telluride, Crested Butte, and Summit County, though we've ranged as far as St. Kitts/Nevis to La Paz, Mexico to Patagonia and even Iceland. Projects range from high-end residences to off-grid cabins to commercial buildings including educational facilities, theaters, breweries/distilleries.
How did you get into this line of work?
I found my passion for electrical design after lighting my first LED however I ultimately switched to building system design from electronics to pursue a better work life and a better work-life balance.
Who inspires you?
People who put people first, whether that is in business or their personal lives.

Golden Game Guild Meet up Monday - Every Monday 6pm-9pm - $10 Admission, $5 Students and Children - The Golden Game Guild strives to offer an environment where children are free to exercise their imagination and have fun! Our curriculum is designed to encourage social, emotional, and intellectual growth through the use of board games.
Golden Farmer's Market - Every Saturday from 8am-1pm until October 2nd - Located in the West parking lot of the Golden Library. Come on out and support local! More info.
