You’re invited to experience a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) practicum series facilitated by Lewis Bates, in association with UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center! The goal of the program is to help you learn foundational mindfulness practices that can be used to explore their many evidence-based benefits in your own life, some of which are:
Enhanced well-being, resilience and stress management
Improved mental clarity, focus and effectiveness
Improved emotion regulation and sense of emotional balance
Greater self-awareness, which also enhances relationship skills (personal and professional)
Thursdays from 2-3pm on June 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd

Tell us what you do without directly telling us what you do: I hire the plumber, HVAC tech, janitor etc and collect your money.
What are you going to do when you retire?: Travel to our beach and mountain houses, find new adventures in the Airstream trailer we affectionately call Bambi, spend more time giving back
How do you recharge?: Yoga, Paddle-boarding, listen to vinyl by the fireplace.
What was your first job?: Frozen yogurt shop at the Westminster Mall.
What is your favorite book?: I geek out on biomechanics so Whole Body Barefoot by Katy Bowman.
Who is your favorite musician or band?: Depends on the day but something from the 70’s like the Eagles.
