Curtis Harrison

Technavance

Curtis is hosting the Mercantile front desk beginning this week. You will see him around both spaces working as a member as he is hosting for a Connects membership trade. Be sure to introduce yourself if you see him!

What kind of pets do you have? I have a 60lb, 2-year-old mostly German Shepard mix (we aren’t sure what the rest of the mix is!) named Hoss. He has nearly limitless energy, and loves to people watch out our front window.

Where are you from? My parents and brothers are Canadian citizens and permanent residents in the United States, but I have birthright citizenship. I was born in California and grew up primarily in Austin, TX.

What are you most passionate about? I strongly believe that responsible development of technology, advised with multidisciplinary perspectives, is the quickest way to improve quality of life globally and tackle the big problems facing this planet and our species!

Favorite trail to hike? If you have not hiked Sawtooth Ridge, I would highly recommend it. Beautiful views and really engaging trail.

Goals for the year? I’ll save you the specifics, but the focuses are on adjusting to post-college life (figuring out how and where to apply myself) as well as returning to full productivity and enjoyment post-pandemic.
